About the Food Fair
The food fair was a program organized by F.2 students. Students were divided into groups of four to create their own food stall. Each food stall needed to prepare two dishes from other countries and decorated their own food stall. We organized this food fair because we could improve our English, drawing shills and cooking skills.
The food fair was held on 7th December, 2007 in Methodist College. On that day, F.1 students paid $2 for each food and the money they paid had been donated to the Doctor's without Bothers'. On that day, students were happy and enjoyable. WE hope the food fair would continued next year.

Things I learnt during this week
We have international food fair on 7-12-2007. So most of the time we concertrated on our food stall. We wrote letter to invite teachers to our food fair.

About the International Food Fair
I joined the food fair. This time I concentrated on my group. We had only four in a group. Honestly, I though it was quite difficult because we had lots to do. I still remembered we went outside and asked for sponsorship. We asked for teachers and friends but as we wanted to raise more, sometimes we were very rude. And I heard some of the teachers said we were crazy. Luckily, we could raise enough money. Then another problem appear, we had no idea for what food we made. At last we chose French food. And we chose some easy food to make and this problem has been solved.
I enjoyed the whole process of the food fair. From Monday, it's 3rd December, 2007. Everyone in my group started to realize the food fair is coming. Everyone started to work. Since that day, we worked together after school.We left schoolat 18:30-19:00. It's quite late but all of us were very cooperative. Although the weather was quite cool, no one gave up.
For the day of international food fair, everyone gave all their effort to do all the preparation. I saw my teamates brought many bags containing their food and things for decoration. The bags were heavy while we needed to walk up to school. It's tired to do it. I wanted to thank my teamates. Although we had not sold out all of our food, I was happy. When we took back our food back to our classroom, every group took out the food they left and shared it.
This is a meaningful activity. Not only because we can donate money to the charity. Everyone can have an unforgettable through this program. We can't buy experiences. And we don't have too many chances for such a big activities. I won't forget everything happened during the whole food fair. Either things happens when we have preparation or the day of the international food fair.
At last, thank you everyone who support this food fair. Thankyou teachers and my teamates. Of course, the people who sponsor us.

Other information about France
French people have great table manner. They use different utensils to eat different food. For example: They use bigger fork for rice but they use smaller fork for dessert. Aside bread and milk, they have their meals with baguette, cheese and wine. For baguette plus bread, it seems too heavy. When we add wine to it, it will be more healthy. French food has a settled order. Usually from side dish, main dish and dessert. So they usually have their meals for a long time. As normal, French people have their lunch for 2 hours. Examples for side dish are black radish salad, fried butternut squash and Red cabbage. For main dish, we have French toast, raclette, pot au Feu and Côtes de Veau-au-Fromage. For dessert, we have Chocolate mousse, Tarte Tatin and Crêpe.

We have a definition of the personality of the characters. We found something special. That is when a character was putting in to different thing, they would hgave different personality. For example: Tom is naughty when comparing with Sid but when we compare Tom and Huck, Huck was naughter than Tom.

Self Reflection for the restaurant review
This time my group chose writing an article for the restaurant review instead of filming. Honestly, we worked together most of the time and we had less work to do individually. We visited the restaurant. We tried the food and took photos there. Before the day we went to the restaurant, we did research for the background information of the restaurant from ourselves. We found for the address, phone number, location these basic information. We read the website of Delifrance because there was an introduction of the restaurant. When all of us knew the background information, we went to the restaurant. Everyone was very clear that the purpose of going to the restaurant was trying the food and taking photos. We all had a clear mind. This is better than last time that we are confused for what we are doing. Also we only use one and a-half hour to finish all our work. That's faster than last time we did it for three hours. There was also something we did worst. That was the budget of money. We spent quite a lot because the food wasn't cheap. For this assignment, I knew more about the transportation of Olympic station. Also I learnt looking after my teamates because the environment wasn't noisy. If we spoke too loud, we would disturb others. For nexttime, we must have better management of money.

Extra credit--Photo
Homework
I thought making an advertisement for the food fair is fun. It was different from normal school assignments. We could go outside for filming. I enjoyed the process of working with my teamates. Also my teamates are very cooperative. I learnt writing english script because I wrote Chinese script before but not English. I thought we had something that we could improve for next time. First, we should prepared our script earlier. Not at the day we make the film. We should write it before we make the film. Also we must revise the script so when we are filming, we don't need to look at the script. Secondly, we should have a clear mind of what are we doing. That means we should share the work equally. Everyone in the group must be very clear and sure what they are doing. At last, we should have a backup of our film. When we show our film to the class, we can't always sure that the computer can run our film. We should put the film on a CD and also a memory stick or maybe even bring back the camera with USB.

My Commentary of Fussy Eaters
When children become fussy eaters, I think this is not only the responsibility of themselves. It's also the responsibility of their parents. Why do children become picky eater? I think it has a few reasons. First, parents are fussy eaters too. If the parents are fussy eaters, they don't give food that they don't eat too child. That means children even don't have a chance to try new food. The second reason is parents are not concentrate on their children. Parents don't ask what do they eat today. Example if parents don't ask their child what do they eat during lunch. As there are other kids, children usually follow their friends instead of remember what their parents say. Some parents may said, " If we don't cater them, they won't eat the food they cook." I think this is not a reason. Be the parents of children, I think you are response to educate your child about eating . Another viewpoint from the children are my mother or father were lousy cook. Parents want their child to eat their food. They try to read cooking book, have cooking lesson. I think this is not an excuse for both parents and children.
I think I am not a picky eater. The food I won't eat is eggplant because I hate the taste.

The wonder I choose in Hong Kong
I would choose Wetland Park in Tin Shui Wai because Hong Kong is full of high commercial buildings. There are less recreational land for people. Wetland Park is a good place for people to relax and learn about the natural. Also, earning money must be very important for everyone in Hong Kong. People always forget to respect their environment. Wetland Park might be a good place to educate people.

My hobbies
I love Sports especially synchronized swimming. I learnt synchronized swimming for almost a year before but I stopped the lesson in March because I was too busy. I enjoyed synchronized swimming because this was a whole-body exercise. Different action train different parts of body. Also, synchronized swimming is really a beautiful sports. It's the mixture of swimming and dancing. I really appreciate the beauty of synchronized swimming. When I had a chance to learn synchronized swimming, it became my hobby.
I love Music too. I played piano and flute. I feel relaxed while I am playing the piano and flute. Also, flute is a important musical instrumnent in Orchestra. I love playing songs with other instrument such as violin and cello. I think Piano is wonderful because it can play all kinds of songs. Learning piano gave me basic knowledge for music.

Things I learn today
Today, I learnt many thing. In the first two period, I had History lesson.
Oh Yeah! I understand what was B.C and A.D now.
Then we learnt some skills about giving a speech.
Although I didin't have a chance to go for a speech,
I got a lot of experiences from other classmates.
In English lesson, I learnt two new letters--"M" and "S"
They are useful for spelling words that I didn't know.
